Graduate Assistant

Sarah Penuela-Wermers is a graduate assistant with Dr. Alison Buttenheim, PHD. She is a candidate for a Master of Public Health at the University of Pennsylvania, where she graduated with a BA in Health and Societies, concentrating in Health Policy and Law in May of 2023. During her undergraduate time at Penn, she has worked with the Netter Center for Community Partnership, interned with Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute, and participated in Penn’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. She is interested in the intersectionality of public health, equitable healthcare delivery, global health, and behavioral economics.
